The Mizoram government received two JCB machines to help in disaster management and road safety initiatives. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (TKM) arranged the official handover event, wherein Chief Minister Lalduhoma received symbolic keys. The ceremony took place in the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall. In order to show his appreciation, the chief minister said, “We are thankful to receive this essential equipment, which will greatly aid our disaster management efforts.” These gadgets would be very helpful during emergencies.

He also gave Toyota Kirloskar Motor praise for its continuous assistance to the state, pointing out its involvement in Chapchar Kut celebrations, traffic control in Aizawl, and other positive projects. Executive Vice President and Country Head of TKM Vikram Gulati emphasized the company’s dedication to helping Mizoram prepare for disasters. After the transfer, the chief minister was given a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) detailing how the donated equipment would be used and maintained.
