The upcoming Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro have been completely unmasked after a premature listing by a major retailer. Xiaomi had scheduled a global launch event for its sub-flagship duo on May 28, but a Russian e-commerce website prematurely leaked the full specifications, pricing, and official marketing photos of both phones. The listings were swiftly removed but they confirmed significant hardware upgrades across the board. The base Xiaomi 17T is tipped to come with a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and be backed by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, alongside a 6,500 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the higher-end Xiaomi 17T Pro raises the stakes with a bigger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, the top-tier MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, and a huge 7,000 mAh battery. Both the phones come with IP68 durability ratings, 32-megapixel selfie cameras, and a Leica-tuned triple rear camera matrix with dual 50-megapixel sensors. This retail misstep leaves Xiaomi with very few surprises for its official launch event later this week.
