In light of the violence in Bangladesh, the Tripura section of the VHP requested the Center to guarantee the safety of Hindu families residing there. Citing rising violence and vandalism, the VHP urged the Indian government to provide security for Sikhs, Hindus, and other minorities in Bangladesh. Alok Kumar, the president of the VHP, emphasized attacks on places of worship and commerce, and he voiced fears about possible infiltration into India. He demanded assistance and international action to help Bangladesh restore democracy.

The RSS called for the Indian government to guarantee the safety of Hindus and other minorities, citing fears about violence against them in Bangladesh. Many temples and properties were destroyed after Muhammad Yunus assumed interim leadership following the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh’s interim government took serious action against the atrocities at the behest of the RSS.

As the situation in Bangladesh deteriorated, with minority Hindus being attacked and temples being set on fire, former RSS leader Bhalyaji Suresh Joshi called on the Indian government to step in. Vishwa Hindu Parishad, citing destroyed holy places and properties across numerous districts, expressed alarm over rampant attacks on minorities and called for worldwide intervention to protect their safety.
