The Deputy Commissioner’s office in Aizawl hosted the oath of affirmation ceremony for the elected Sinlung Hills Council members. According to the requirements of the Sinlung Council Act 2018, the ceremony signaled the start of a new administration term.NIn compliance with Section 13(1) of the Sinlung Council Act Er. Lalhriatpuia, the Deputy Commissioner for Aizawl, gave the oath. All elected members were sworn in by the Pro-tem Chairman in accordance with Section of the Act.
The Chairman, R. Lalfakzuala of the 10-Tinghmun constituency, was chosen without opposition. The following people were chosen to serve on the Sinlung Hills Council: Chief Executive Member Ricky Lalremsanga, Deputy Chairman Benjamin Lalrawnliana, and Chairman R. Lalfakzuala. Ramfangzauva from Sakawrdai and C. Lalnuntlanga from New Vervek are the members that have been nominated.
