Tata AIA Life Insurance has announced its highest-ever bonus payout of ₹2,173 crore for participating (Par) policyholders for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, registering an 18 per cent rise from ₹1,842 crore declared in the previous fiscal. The record payout will benefit more than 8.74 lakh policies, the company said on Sunday.
The insurer stated that the bonus has been declared across eligible participating insurance plans, including Smart Value Income Plan, Shubh Flexi Income Plan, ShubhMaha Life, Diamond Savings Plan and Value Income Plan. Participating plans allow policyholders to share in the profits of the insurer through annual bonus declarations, depending on the performance of the participating fund.
Kshitij Sharma, Appointed Actuary at Tata AIA Life Insurance, said, “We are proud to announce yet another milestone year of record bonus payouts for our participating policyholders. This record bonus declaration reflects Tata AIA’s disciplined investment strategy, prudent fund management, and continued commitment to delivering long-term value to our policyholders.”
The company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) grew 18 per cent year-on-year to ₹1,45,617crore as on March 31, 2026, reflecting sustained business growth and fund performance.
