RSL Group and Casio have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding the market for contemporary keyboard education across India, with a focus on learning resources, teacher training and wider access to musical instruments. The collaboration combines RSL’s contemporary music education expertise with Casio’s global musical instrument capabilities.

The programme will introduce three co-branded physical learning resources — Beginner Piano Method Book, Beginner Keyboard Method Book and Advanced Keyboard Method Book — backed by interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments. The books will be supplied with selected Casio keyboard models. Casio’s Slim & Smart range will target beginners, while its Standard and Indian series will support progressive learning and its premium Digital Piano range will cater to advanced learners, performers and professionals.

The partners aim to reach more than 150,000 music enthusiasts and 1,000 music teachers over the next three years. A nationwide teacher development programme will begin in 2026, with RSL trainers from India and the UK covering teaching techniques, contemporary repertoire, learner engagement and creativity.

In Aizawl, the city’s inclusion among the programme’s priority locations provides a potential channel for expanding structured keyboard education and professional development for local music educators. The initiative is also positioned to connect learners with contemporary learning pathways and Casio’s instrument range.

RSL CEO Tim Bennett-Hart, RSL India Country Director Arup Gohain and Casio India Managing Director Takuto Kimura said the partnership seeks to make music education more accessible, engaging and relevant across India.
