Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Friday met a delegation from Google for Education at Mizoram House, New Delhi.
The delegation comprised Neeti Verma, Lead for Government and Strategic Agreements, India; Hemant Bhalla, Sales Lead, India; Sonia Mehra Agarwal, Digital Transformation Manager; and Satwik Misra, Public Policy Manager.
During the meeting, the discussions centred on potential areas of collaboration between Google Gemini AI and the School Education Department, Government of Mizoram, to enhance teaching and learning through artificial intelligence.
The Google for Education delegation also expressed they can provide free Artificial Intelligence training for school teachers in Mizoram, aimed at strengthening digital capabilities and promoting the effective integration of AI in education.
Lalduhoma also met Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Sonowal, Global President & CEO of the BRICS Entrepreneur Alliance India, at Mizoram House.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for collaboration in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), carbon credits, technology, tourism, environmental conservation, and youth development.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by K. Laltluangkima, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha); J.K. Dawngzuala, Chairman of ZOHANDCO; and Renu Sharma, Advisor to the Government of Mizoram.
