Lawngtlai Deputy Commissioner Donny Lalruatsanga on Wednesday felicitated two candidates from the district who successfully cleared the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) Combined Technical Examination 2025 and secured appointments in state government services. The felicitation programme was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office chamber, where Pi B. Lalramhlimi of Electric Veng, who qualified for the post of Junior Grade Officer in the Mizoram Horticulture Service (MHS), and Pu Lalramdinmawia of Chandmary, who qualified for the post of Junior Grade Officer in the Mizoram Agriculture Service (MAS), were honoured for their achievement. Congratulating the successful candidates, Lalruatsanga said their hard work, dedication and commitment had brought recognition to Lawngtlai district and would serve as an inspiration for other students and aspirants.
He noted that while efforts are being made to improve educational standards in the district, it is encouraging to see talented individuals from Lawngtlai continue to excel at the state level. The Deputy Commissioner expressed particular happiness that candidates from the district had performed well in the latest MPSC examination, describing the achievement as a matter of pride for the entire district. He emphasised the important role played not only by students but also by teachers and parents in achieving academic success. Encouraging continued efforts to strengthen education, he called upon all stakeholders to work together in promoting educational advancement in the district. Addressing the successful candidates, Lalruatsanga said government employees have a responsibility to serve the people and contribute to the development of the state. He urged the newly selected officers to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and a spirit of public service when they join government service.
As part of the programme, the Deputy Commissioner presented mementoes and cash awards to both Lalramhlimi and Lalramdinmawia in recognition of their achievement. The felicitation ceremony highlighted the growing academic achievements of students and job aspirants from Lawngtlai district and underscored the importance of education and public service in shaping the state’s future.
