For Vaibhav Suryavanshi, there could probably be no better stage to learn than this. Sitting in the gallery, he witnessed firsthand how to chase a target in a match as big as an IPL final. He saw how to remain unbeaten, play a match-winning innings, and leave the field victoriously, and how to stay resolute toward one’s goal.
Virat Kohli gave this very lesson to Vaibhav while he was sitting in the gallery. Not just through his batting, King Kohli also offered valuable advice for success to Vaibhav at the end of the match. While the RCB players were celebrating on the field, Kohli walked over to Vaibhav, who was standing a little distance away. Putting his hand on the wonder kid’s shoulder, the veteran star conversed with him. From Virat’s body language, it was clear that he was advising Vaibhav to maintain his focus. He advised him to move forward with a specific goal in mind. Virat told him to play with a calm mind. The 15-year-old Vaibhav received a lesson right on the field yesterday on how it is possible to play for India for a long time.
