Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has achieved a major milestone in its electric mobility journey by providing access to more than 30,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging points across India through its myHyundai mobile application.
The company said the platform integrates multiple charging networks through partnerships with leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and service providers, allowing EV users to locate and access charging facilities through a single digital platform.
Hyundai Motor India Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Tarun Garg said the integration of over 30,000 charging points on the myHyundai app will empower EV users with one of the country’s largest charging networks available through a unified platform.
The company is also expanding its own public charging infrastructure as part of its long-term electric mobility strategy. Hyundai plans to more than triple its proprietary DC fast public charging network, increasing the number of stations from the current 183 to 600 by 2030.
The expansion of charging infrastructure is expected to support wider adoption of electric vehicles in India by addressing key challenges such as charging accessibility and range concerns among customers.
Hyundai’s latest initiative highlights the company’s focus on building a connected EV ecosystem and strengthening the country’s transition towards sustainable mobility. By combining digital solutions with a growing charging network, Hyundai aims to enhance convenience for EV owners and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across India.
