NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has introduced MyUPI, an AI-powered conversational assistant on the BHIM Payments App, expanding the platform’s support, transaction-management and payment-safety capabilities.

Launched by NPCI at Global Fintech Fest 2026, MyUPI provides 24/7 assistance in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, with additional regional languages planned. The service is positioned as a single interface for users to manage a range of UPI-related requirements without navigating multiple support channels.

MyUPI allows users to view transaction histories across linked bank accounts and UPI apps, raise and track eligible complaints and manage recurring UPI Autopay mandates. Users can pause, resume or cancel applicable mandates and identify debits made through mandates without a UPI PIN prompt.

Its Pay Safe feature enables verification of a payee’s name through a UPI ID or uploaded QR code before payment. Users can also re-initiate eligible P2P and P2M transactions, including payments originally made through another UPI app, with fresh UPI PIN authorisation.

The platform additionally offers UPI Number de-linking, a Safety Switch to block linked bank accounts during suspected compromise, and conversational assistance on scam messages and common UPI fraud methods.

NBSL MD and CEO Lalitha Nataraj said MyUPI is designed to strengthen trust and make digital payments more accessible and easier to manage.
