Global tech leader ASUS has introduced its next-generation server portfolio powered by 6th-generation AMD EPYC 9006 series processors (codenamed “Venice”), engineered to accelerate enterprise artificial intelligence, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud workloads. Featuring new server families such as the RS700A/720A and RS500A/520A series, the updated lineup leverages AMD’s advanced Zen 6 and Zen 6c architectures built on TSMC’s 2nm process node. The new architecture enables single- and dual-socket configurations offering up to 256 cores, PCIe 6.0 connectivity, MRDIMM memory support, and CXL 3.1 expansion capabilities. To maximize operational efficiency and maintainability in high-density data centers, ASUS integrated proprietary innovations, including the DC-MHS modular framework, zone-partitioned chassis cooling, Thermal Radar 3.0, and DIMM.2 thermal management. The systems are specifically optimized for demanding enterprise tasks like agentic AI inferencing, high-density virtualization, and scalable software-defined storage, offering organizations a reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) and enhanced computing density.
