Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stressed that it is everyone’s religious responsibility to treat women with respect. In addition to praising the Modi government’s numerous programs, including as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, and Matru Vandana Yojana, he emphasized the state government’s efforts to guarantee women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment. He pointed out that the recently passed Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam ensures women’s representation in important areas, such as the legislature.

On Sunday, following his performance of ‘Kanya Pujan’ at the Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi spoke to a crowd and wished the state’s citizens a happy Ram Navami and the ninth day of Vasantik Navratri. “Since we adore the Goddess Durga in all nine of her manifestations during these nine days, this day is very spiritually significant to adherents of Sanatan Dharma. The adoration of young girls, who represent the nine goddesses, is the conclusion of these rites today,” he stated.

On the occasion of the ninth day of “Chaitra Navratri,” the Chief Minister also posted images of Kanya Pujan on social media. “I was extremely fortunate to worship girls as goddesses and give them prasad. I hope that Mother Jagadamba, the mother of the world, continues to bless the world and that everyone’s life is filled with joy, tranquility, and health,” he wrote on X.
