Samsung India has rolled out the fourth edition of its flagship CSR initiative ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’, injecting over ₹1 crore in grants to nurture tech-based innovations from young minds aged 14-22. The programme, open from April 29 to June 30, 2025, offers tiered rewards—₹1 crore for the top 4 teams, ₹20 lakh for the top 20, and ₹8 lakh for the top 40—along with Samsung gadgets, mentorship, and incubation support at IIT Delhi.
This year’s themes include AI for a Smarter Bharat, Future of Health and Hygiene, Social Change through Sports & Tech for Education, and Environmental Sustainability via Technology. Participants will benefit from over 82,000 hours of training and curated visits to Samsung’s R&D and design centers.
With rising tech adoption and entrepreneurial activity in the Northeast, especially in clean energy and education tech, the initiative is expected to stimulate youth-driven innovation. Educational institutions and startups see the contest as an opportunity to scale local solutions with national visibility. Backed by MeitY, IIT Delhi, and the UN in India, the initiative aligns with India’s Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047 visions.
