Shubhendu Adhikari, who took oath as the first BJP Chief Minister of West Bengal, is a true leader deeply connected with the public and understanding their hopes and aspirations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made this remark while participating in the historic oath-taking ceremony held on Saturday at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. The Prime Minister congratulated Shubhendu Adhikari on this new journey of BJP in the state and wished for a fruitful tenure.

At the end of the event, through a message on social media X, Narendra Modi said, “I congratulate Shubhendu Adhikari Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal. He has established himself as a leader who understands the hearts of the people very closely.” Along with the message, the Prime Minister shared a photo of congratulating Shubhendu Adhikari on stage and an image of Goddess Durga.

Along with the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the central leadership of the BJP are also present at this grand swearing-in ceremony in Kolkata. In addition, the Chief Ministers of various NDA-ruled states also participate in this historic moment and extend their greetings to Shubendu Adhikari.
