The Delhi government’s three women-focused welfare programs, including the Pink National Common Mobility Card, were introduced by President Droupadi Murmu. Speaking to the audience at the “Sashakt Nari, Samriddh Delhi” program, President Murmu stated that programs like integrated transport access and free bus travel would improve women’s safety and freedom. The President also announced a plan to give two free LPG cylinders to families with ration cards every year for Holi and Diwali during the ceremony, which was hosted at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Direct Benefit Transfer would be used to deposit the ₹129-crore benefit straight into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

She also started the “Meri Poonji, Mera Adhikar” campaign and the Delhi Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana. According to Ms. Murmu, empowered women who have the ability to make their own decisions can alter the course of society and the country. The President emphasized the need for society to play a part in women’s empowerment, saying that it is not only the government’s responsibility. She stated that the programs introduced will enable women to realize the goal of a flourishing Delhi.
