Speaking about India’s growing military might in relation to Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a commitment to safeguard the interests of small business owners and farmers during a two-day visit to his home state of Gujarat. After launching a number of projects, PM Modi spoke to a sizable crowd and emphasized the differences between the Congress and BJP governments’ responses to acts of terror. He said that while our government spared terrorists and their masters, previous governments did nothing when terrorists used to kill us.
“Innocent people were killed by terrorists, and the Delhi administration did nothing about it. But today, we do not spare terrorists and their leaders, wherever they may be hiding. The world has watched India’s response to the Pahalgam incident. We demolished their hideouts deep into Pakistan in only twenty-two minutes,” Prime Minister Modi declared. The prime minister went on to say that his government would try to improve the lives of farmers, fishermen, and livestock keepers, calling their well-being “a matter of paramount importance.”
PM Modi has emphasized the welfare of small entrepreneurs, farmers, and livestock-rearers in India, contrasting past Congress governments’ dependency on foreign nations and embracing self-reliance as the cornerstone for building a Viksit Bharat. He praised Gujarat as a new manufacturing hub, with industrial projects expanding and Gujarat becoming a major center for electric vehicle manufacturing. Modi also addressed the challenges of connectivity between ports and industrial hubs in Gujarat, highlighting the development of 3,000 kilometers of railway tracks and the electrification of the entire railway network.
