Nissan Motor India has announced a landmark move in the B-SUV segment with the launch of its industry-first 10-Year Extended Warranty Plan for the New Nissan Magnite, recently recognised with a Global NCAP 5-star rating for adult occupant safety. The initiative aligns with evolving consumer protection trends in the automotive sector, emphasising long-term value, reliability, and cost stability.
The plan, priced at just 22 paise per km or INR 12 per day, is available exclusively for vehicles with a 3-year standard warranty. It offers flexible coverage options — 3+7, 3+4, 3+3, 3+2, and 3+1 years — with comprehensive protection for seven years and engine-transmission coverage for the last three. It ensures unlimited cashless repairs at authorised service centres, with financing options via Nissan Finance.
The Magnite’s combination of top-tier safety ratings and predictable long-term costs fits the region’s growing preference for high-value, low-maintenance SUVs, reinforcing consumer confidence in manufacturer-backed protection. “This bold step allows customers to enjoy a decade of worry-free ownership,” said Saurabh Vatsa, MD, Nissan Motor India, highlighting the company’s focus on sustained consumer trust and value creation.
