At least 10 scribes belonging to Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA) accompanied by officials from state Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department have embarked on an exposure tour to Sikkim on Tuesday. I&PR minister Dr. Vanlalthlana flagged off the team from Aizawl.
Speaking on the occasion, Vanlalthlana emphasized the role of the media in leading progress and shaping the society. He urged journalists to use their writing to influence and engage the public effectively.
He also pointed out the need to study Sikkim’s tourism initiatives thoroughly, as the scribes could offer valuable insights for Mizoram.
