The Mizoram government has launched a portal called Mizo DiasporaHub to connect Mizos living globally. The portal, developed by the Mizo Diaspora Cell in collaboration with LushAITech, aims to strengthen bonds with Mizo communities abroad and extend help to those in need. The Mizo Diaspora Cell will coordinate support and maintain connections with Mizos living outside Mizoram and India. The portal is available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and as a web version. It facilitates communication between welfare associations and accesses tools for collective action and better coordination. The Diaspora Cell, formed on June 11, 2024, aims to track and respond to challenges faced by Mizos abroad, promoting responsible migration and closer ties with the homeland.
