Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma chaired a high-level Mi-PRAGATI (Mizoram Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) meeting on Monday to review major state infrastructure projects, before separately donating vital equipment to the Aizawl Civil Hospital.
During the Mi-PRAGATI meeting, the Chief Minister, alongside cabinet ministers and top officials, evaluated the progress of several key developments. Discussions focused on addressing construction bottlenecks caused by heavy monsoons to ensure projects meet their deadlines.
Major projects reviewed included the Thenzawl Peace City Master Plan, the Rs 99.71 crore Thingsulthliah Conference Centre, the Rs 50 crore Mizo Fiber Grid Network (MFGN) connecting district headquarters, the MINECO Integrated Office Complex, and the Rs 100 crore Pukzing to Silsury Road. Officials discussed strategies to keep these projects on track for their respective completion targets between 2026 and 2028.
In a separate event at his office, Chief Minister Lalduhoma handed over a 10 KVA Solar Inverter to the Model Blood Bank at Civil Hospital, Aizawl.
The equipment was provided following a request from the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors (AVBD), Mizoram.
The inverter will ensure the safe, continuous preservation of stored blood during frequent power outages.
AVBD leaders and the hospital’s Medical Superintendent received the inverter, expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister for securing the uninterrupted operation of the critical facility.
