With the Dampa Assembly by-election approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mizoram unit has intensified its campaign activities across the constituency. On Thursday, State BJP President and MLA Dr. K. Beichhua held an interaction meeting with party workers at Ailawng village to boost morale and reinforce the party’s vision for progress.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Beichhua expressed confidence in BJP’s prospects in Dampa, promising “real development” if the party comes to power. “As we prepare for the Dampa Assembly Constituency by-election, I firmly believe that once the BJP wins, we will witness meaningful development in the region,” he said, urging party workers to mobilize support and focus on the welfare of the constituency.
Dr. Beichhua also highlighted the strong backing of the BJP central leadership for Mizoram, emphasizing the state unit’s importance within the party’s national framework. He underscored the need for effective implementation of Central Government schemes and called on the state administration to cooperate for smooth execution of development projects.
Urging voters to prioritize genuine progress over political rhetoric, Dr. Beichhua said, “We must work sincerely, without fear, and with dedication to bring real development to Mizoram.” He further announced that Union Ministers would visit Dampa to support the party candidate, reinforcing the BJP’s commitment to the constituency.
