The recognition marks the seventh consecutive year the institution has featured among leading global healthcare providers, reinforcing India’s growing footprint in high-quality tertiary care.
The 2026 rankings assessed over 2,500 hospitals across 32 countries, including major healthcare markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada and Singapore. The methodology combined recommendations from thousands of medical experts, patient experience data, hospital quality metrics and a Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Implementation Survey, ensuring a comprehensive and globally benchmarked evaluation.
Operated by Global Health Limited, Medanta has positioned itself as a technology-enabled healthcare leader through investments in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation aimed at improving clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Founded by Dr. Naresh Trehan, a recipient of the Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri and Dr. B.C.
