Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced a price revision across its big bike lineup following the government’s updated GST structure. The new rates apply to motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc, resulting in increased prices for higher-capacity models, while models below this threshold have become more affordable. The middle-weight and premium segments in Honda’s Indian portfolio have been directly impacted by these changes.
The Rebel 500, being the smallest in this range, now costs ₹37,000 more. The NX500 Adventure Tourer has seen a price hike of ₹43,000. In the higher segment, the CB750 Hornet has gone up by ₹62,000, the CB650R by ₹70,000, and the CBR650R by ₹76,000. The XL750 Transalp, a midsize adventure model, now carries an additional cost of ₹81,000. The adventure-style X-ADV maxi-scooter is costlier by ₹88,000.
Among the litre-class models, the CB1000 Hornet SP’s price has risen by ₹93,000. The flagship CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has seen a significant hike of ₹2.19 lakh, while the top-tier GL1800 Gold Wing Tour is now dearer by ₹2.92 lakh.
