The Indian junior men’s team for the forthcoming Four Nations Tournament, which will take place in Berlin, Germany, from June 21–25, was revealed by Hockey India. Four formidable competitors will compete in the esteemed tournament: Australia, Spain, India, and the host nation, Germany. Each team will compete against every other team in a single round-robin pool stage, according to the tournament’s format. A classification match will be played between the third- and fourth-place teams, and the top two teams will then compete in the final.

Importantly, the competition will help the Indian Colts get ready for the FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup 2025, which will be held in Chennai and Madurai later this year from November 28 to December 10. The Indian team will be captained by flashy forward Araijeet Singh Hundal, who has consistently impressed with his attacking prowess and leadership qualities. Vice-captain Amir Ali, a defender renowned for his poise and backfield expertise, has been appointed.

An important component of the Indian junior men’s team’s preparation for the FIH Junior World Cup is their participation in the 4 Nations Tournament. Bikramjit Singh and Vivek Lakra will be in charge of the goalkeeping unit, whereas Amir Ali, Talem Priyobarta, Shardanand Tiwari, Sunil P. B., Anmol Ekka, Rohit, Ravneet Singh, and Sukhvinder will be in the defensive lineup. Gurjot Singh, Dilraj Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Ajeet Yadav, and Sourabh Anand Kushwaha make up the forward battery.
