The newly developed “LushAI Healthy Lunglei” Mobile Application, an initiative under the Healthy Lunglei District Campaign led by the Lunglei District Administration, was officially launched today at the DC Conference Hall, Lunglei by Pu V. Malsawmtluanga, Vice Chairman, Lunglei High Powered Committee (HPC).

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Guest expressed appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner, officials of the Health & Family Welfare Department and the LushAITech team for their collaborative efforts in bringing the application to fruition. He stated that the app would greatly ease access to healthcare services for residents of Lunglei and surrounding areas, and described it as a significant milestone not only for Lunglei but for Mizoram as a whole, noting that it is among the first of its kind in the North Eastern region. He also highlighted the Mizoram Government’s emphasis on healthcare and urged citizens to make full use of Mizoram Universal Health Carr Scheme.

Pu V. Malsawmtluanga further congratulated the district administration for receiving the National Award 2025 for Most Outstanding District in Implementation of the Accessible India Campaign, achieved through the initiative of Project LEAP for persons with disabilities. He also announced that the Lunglei HPC would provide ₹25 lakh for renovation of the DC Office building.

The programme was chaired by Pi Navneet Mann, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Lunglei, who welcomed the gathering and explained that the app was developed to ensure easier public access to essential healthcare services and to promote preventive health awareness, particularly among the youth. She noted that the application would be beneficial not only to residents within the district but also to visitors.
