A District Level Awareness Programme on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme was successfully organised today by the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of MSME, Government of India, through the Branch MSME–Development and Facilitation Office (DFO), Aizawl, at the BDO Conference Hall, Aspirational Block Lungsen, Lungsen Block, Lunglei District.

The programme commenced with participant registration, followed by an inaugural session featuring the welcome of guests, felicitation of dignitaries and ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Pu Samrat M. Jha, IEDS, Assistant Director Grade–I and In-charge, Br. MSME–DFO, Aizawl, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the objectives of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, underscoring its significance in empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople.

The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Pu Lalhruailiana Zote, BDO, Lungsen Block, who stressed the importance of inter-departmental convergence to ensure effective grassroots implementation of the scheme. Pi R. Lalbiaktluangi, Domain Expert, PM Vishwakarma, Lunglei District; Pu R. Lalmalsawma, Lead District Manager (LDM), Lunglei District; Pu Lalnun Tuanga, State Head, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), Mizoram; and Pu Ronald Lalchhuanawma, DCIO, Lunglei District, also addressed the session.
