The Gujarat Unified Digital Stack will soon be operational throughout the state, according to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. This will improve real-time data sharing between ministries and allow citizens to access all government services via a single platform. He made the statement at the opening of the AI Experience Zone and the Regional AI Impact Conference at Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir. There were also Science and Technology Minister Arjun Modhwadia and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi.

The conference emphasized Gujarat’s connection with the national AI mission as a pre-event to the AI Impact Summit 2026. In order to facilitate plug-and-play AI deployment across ministries, the Chief Minister introduced the Gujarat AI Stack, which includes six essential AI tools for agriculture, eligibility verification, procurement, grievance redressal, document extraction, and chat management. In order to improve security, scalability, and AI preparedness, the government recently published the Gujarat Cloud Adoption Guidelines 2025.

Two MoUs were signed involving the Government of Gujarat: one with Google and Bhashini to promote multilingual AI, and another with GIFT City and Henox to create a cable landing station. CM Patel emphasized AI’s role in national development, public welfare, and initiatives leading to Viksit Gujarat 2047. Deputy CM Sanghavi outlined AI reforms in agriculture, health, and governance, highlighting projects like FASAL AI for farmers and AI-enabled police operations. Science & Technology Minister Modhwadia noted Gujarat’s leadership in AI, while MeitY’s Abhishek Singh announced India’s upcoming AI Impact Summit 2026, recognizing Gujarat’s commitment to technology adoption.
