New Delhi, June 20: Zinc prices fell 0.34 percent to Rs 252.85 per kg in futures trade on Friday as speculators cut their positions following negative cues from the spot market.
Zinc contracts for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 85 paise, or 0.34 percent, to Rs 252.85 per kg in a business turnover of 2,163 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants due to weak demand from consuming industries in the spot market mainly put pressure on zinc prices.
