The Nursing Administrators Training Program was officially launched on November 19 by Health & Family Welfare Minister Lalrinpuii at the Planning and Program Implementation Department Conference Hall, Tennis Court, Aizawl. The purpose of the program, which started at 9:45 AM, is to provide nursing administrators the tools they need to improve healthcare administration throughout the state. Lalrinpuii emphasized in her speech how important nurse administrators are to the healthcare system. In order to improve patient care, she continued, efficient healthcare administration is essential, and skilled nurse administrators are leading the charge in this endeavor.

The program’s goal is to improve nurses’ administrative skills so they can effectively oversee healthcare environments and concentrate on patients’ overall requirements. Lalrinpuii emphasized that the training will be crucial to raising the state’s healthcare standards and service delivery. Lalchhanhimi, Joint Director of the Directorate of Nursing, was among the other dignitaries who spoke at the ceremony and discussed the significance of the program. While Kavita Khasa, the Government of India’s Deputy Nursing Advisor, highlighted the program’s importance in improving healthcare standards via effective nurse leadership, Dr. Eric Zomawia, Director of the National Health Mission, offered views on the program’s expected success.
