Skoda has officially confirmed that it will announce the prices for the 2025 Octavia RS in India on Friday, October 17. Prior to the price reveal, pre-bookings for the performance sedan will commence on October 6, with deliveries set to begin in November. The model will be available in limited numbers, with only 100 units allocated for the Indian market.
The Octavia RS will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and will feature a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine delivering 216 hp and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission powering the front wheels. The car also includes Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), as seen in the UK-spec version. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 250 kmph.
Sporting a design that reflects its performance DNA, the Octavia RS is 15 mm lower than the standard version and features a revised exhaust setup, LED Matrix headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats, and a 13-inch infotainment screen. Expected pricing is around ₹50 lakh, similar to the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
