Perplexity Finance, after launching its financial AI tool for Indian users, has introduced new features aimed at assisting traders in India. The latest update includes live earnings call schedules, real-time transcriptions, and detailed analyses, making it easier for Indian investors to access vital financial information.
This enhancement is part of Perplexity’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in India, following the recent debut of a dedicated Finance tab for the region. Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the Finance dashboard now supports live earnings call transcriptions and schedules for Indian stocks, with plans to add more valuable tools soon.
Already offering premium financial data for free—data often locked behind paywalls on other platforms—Perplexity Finance provides real-time stock prices from BSE and NSE, market news summaries, bull and bear case breakdowns, explanations of significant price changes, downloadable historical data, and financial statements with Excel export options. Live earnings support covers select BSE and NSE stocks, with expansion underway.
Future updates will include natural-language stock screening and price alerts. The platform is accessible via desktop, mobile web, and apps, all without a subscription, aiming to equip everyday investors with advanced research tools.
