More than 10,100 methamphetamine tablets have been confiscated, and two individuals have been apprehended in the Champhai district of Mizoram. The tablets, which weigh approximately 10.1 kg, were seized during an operation conducted on Saturday. One individual, Lunminlalzo, was taken into custody, while a woman named Christy Hmingthanzami was arrested in Maubawk village. Additionally, a vehicle utilized for transporting the illegal substances was also confiscated. The tablets were intended to be smuggled out of Mizoram. The department has escalated its anti-drug initiatives and is actively detaining drug users in Aizawl and other district centers.
