Mizoram is preparing to launch a full-scale enrolment drive using the Foreigners Identification Portal & Biometric Enrolment system. A training session was held at the Police Computer Training Centre, SP Office, Lunglei, to prepare officials for the rollout. The training aims to ensure accurate biometric enrolment and identification of displaced persons from Myanmar and Bangladesh who have taken shelter in various camps across the state. The enrolment drive will begin in July, covering eight additional camps.
