Security forces conducted extensive search operations and area domination exercises across the fringe and vulnerable areas of Manipur’s hill and valley districts. These operations resulted in significant recoveries, including 67 improvised mortar shells, 25 fuse primers, and nine miscellaneous items from S. Nabil Village in Churachandpur District.
In order to enhance security even more, the state has installed 106 Nakas and checkpoints that span both hilly and low-lying areas. As a result of these actions, 206 people were arrested in several districts for different offenses.
Along National Highway-2 (NH-2) in addition to these operations, security personnel made sure that necessities were transported safely, allowing 69 vehicles to pass. Sensitive regions were equipped with security convoys to ensure free and safe transportation.
