The government of Mizoram is improving the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) to ensure quality education for students. At present, there are 11 EMRS offering free education in remote regions, with an additional six schools in the pipeline. Four of these schools, which are built to house 480 students, are currently providing free education, specifically targeting classes 6 through 12.
