In a landmark initiative to strengthen ties with Mizo communities worldwide, the Government of Mizoram on Monday launched the Mizo DiasporaHub, a digital platform aimed at fostering global ethnic connectivity. Chief Minister Lalduhoma officially launched the portal, developed in collaboration with local tech firm LushAITech and the Mizo Diaspora Cell under the CMO. The platform seeks to serve as a unified communication and coordination system for Mizo welfare associations and individuals living abroad, particularly in regions affected by migration pressures such as Myanmar and parts of India.

“This is not just a symbol of our unity, but a lifeline to ensure timely assistance, support, and cultural preservation for our people abroad,” said CM Lalduhoma, urging all diaspora groups to register and actively engage with the platform.

The portal facilitates inter-association communication, emergency response coordination, and access to government support tools. Vanlaldina, Commissioner and Secretary to the CM, noted that the initiative builds on the groundwork of the Mizo Diaspora Cell, established on June 11, 2023.
