A delegation of journalists from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh visits Akashvani Aizawl today under a media tour organised by Press Information Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India (March 22–28).
Led by Media and Communication Officer Dr. Vikram Singh, the team arrived in Mizoram on March 22 and visited important development sites, such as the Thenzawl Solar Power Plant and Sairang Railway Station. They also interacted with state officials and the Mizoram Journalists Association to learn about central schemes and ongoing initiatives at the local level.
In an exclusive interview with Akashvani News Aizawl, team member Prateek Jain stated that Mizoram has a lot to teach other Indian states in addition to its natural beauty. “Just from the traffic sense which people have in this state, a lot can be learned by other Indian states,” he continued.
The tour aims to promote professional exchange, wider exposure and national integration.
