Federal Bank and News18 Network launced a robust campaign for cancer awareness during the national convention for ‘Sanjeevani: United Against Cancer’, held in partnership with Tata Trusts. With India facing nearly 15 lakh new cancer cases annually, this initiative emphasizes the critical need for early screenings under the slogan “#TimeNikaaleinScreenKarein.”

Bollywood star Vidya Balan, the initiative’s National Ambassador, highlighted the life-saving impact of early detection, sharing her personal experience with the disease. “The fear surrounding cancer can overshadow the importance of regular screenings, which can lead to timely treatment,” she noted. KVS Manian, CEO of Federal Bank, reinforced the need for substantial investment in healthcare, stating, “Awareness is crucial in combating cancer. Our campaign aims to empower individuals to understand the necessity of timely screenings.”

In Aizawl, local health officials are actively promoting cancer screening awareness in markets, recognizing a growing public demand for healthcare information. Community leaders are organizing outreach programs to educate citizens, enhancing the campaign’s reach and fostering a proactive approach to health management. As ‘Sanjeevani’ continues to resonate with audiences, it aims to drive lasting change in cancer awareness and prevention across India.
